For the first time in Canberra, an enormous Drone SkyShow will illuminate Lake Burley Griffin. This free community event, will take place over three evenings from 25 – 27 January and bring together a Drone SkyShow consisting of 600 drones, Night Markets, Food & Drink Vendors, musicians and roving live performers to the National Triangle. In an Australian first, the Drone SkyShow will be presented as a trilogy of stories each night to captivate audiences of all ages.

Each 12-minute show will be played at intervals over the three nights so that it can be viewed by the whole community at the event hub, located at Commonwealth Place.

Our Night Markets will feature some of Canberra’s and the regions most talented artisans, from origami jewellery, clay homewares, boho inspired wear, natural fragrances, wearable art to a smorgasbord of scrumptious multicultural cuisines and sweet treats. The foods will have you salivating this year, to give you an idea think soft German rolled pretzels, lavish seafood paella, hand-rolled gnocchi, gelato, bubble waffles to name a few.
